Find out what to do if you insert or remove your ring earlier or later than your normal routine.
Too early
(after it had been out for only 5 or 6 days)
What to do:
Keep RINGZA in for at least 3 weeks (21 days). You may keep it in up to your normal "OUT DAY".
Example based on typical schedule: IN DAY (Monday) / OUT DAY (Monday, 3 weeks later)
Let's say you took RINGZA out on your scheduled OUT DAY, Monday. If you accidentally put it back too early, like on Friday, just leave it in for at least 3 full weeks.
After that, you can choose to leave it in a few extra days until your usual OUT DAY (Monday) to stay on your regular schedule.
Too late
(after it had been out for more than 7 days)
What to do:
Put RINGZA back in right away. You will now have a new "IN DAY". You must use condoms or spermicide as back-up barrier birth control for the next 7 days when you have sex.
Example based on typical schedule: IN DAY (Monday) / OUT DAY (Monday, 3 weeks later)
If you removed RINGZA on your scheduled OUT DAY, Monday, but forgot to put it back in until Wednesday after your IN DAY, you should insert RINGZA as soon as you remember. That day now becomes your new IN DAY.
Too early
(after it had been in for only 19 or 20 days)
What to do:
Leave RINGZA out for 1 week. Once the week is over, as you would normally do, you may then keep it in until your normal "OUT DAY"; 22 or 23 days after you put RINGZA in.
Example based on typical schedule: IN DAY (Monday) / OUT DAY (Monday, 3 weeks later)
If you accidentally removed RINGZA on the Saturday before your scheduled OUT DAY of Monday, just leave it out. Reinsert it one full week later (Saturday).
After, you can keep it inserted until your usual OUT DAY to stay on your regular cycle.
Too late
(after it had been in for 22 or 23 days)
What to do:
Remove RINGZA as soon as you realize and re-insert it 7 days later.
Example based on typical schedule: IN DAY (Monday) / OUT DAY (Monday, 3 weeks later)
If you forgot to take RINGZA out on your OUT DAY (Monday) and only remembered a few days later on Wednesday, just remove it as soon as you remember. Reinsert it 7 full days later (Wednesday).
